Assalamualaikum
Actually I have written this entry for quite long time already, but then I saved as a draft. This was before our TESL night on April 19 2013. Entah apakah susahnya untuk tekan "publish" di hujung sebelah kanan dari arah aku di blog ini. So, ambil mood masing-masing kerana akan ada flashback yang ingin diceritakan mehehehe.

Berzaman tidak update blog, tetiba semangat update blog datang pada hari ahad yang indah ni. Basically sunday is the spring cleaning official day! Isn't it? Cuci kain, cuci pinggan mangkuk, buang sampah, menyapu, lipat kain, susun meja belajar. Wahhh, awal-awal lagi menunjukkan ciri-ciri ibu mithali. Thumbs up!
Cikgu : "murid-murid, apakah hari sebelum hari ahad?"
Murid-murid : "Sabtu~!"
Okay, so kemarin bersamaan dengan hari sabtu, was kinda busy and pretty messed. Seawal jam 6.50 bertolak dari KK ke Papar. Sampai papar, belum sempat masuk rumah, mama aku bawa jalan pergi KK. What?! Ok, so I drove my car calmly. When we arrived at KK, I drop my mom because she was having her kursus haji. And I supposed to fetch her at 11 o'clock. Time showed, 8.30 a.m. Because I dont feel like going back to hostel, I went to City Mall. But what a silly I am. Tauke mana yang bangun jam 7 pagi untuk buka shopping complex pada jam 8.30 pagi. Means, shopping mall still closed until 10.
So from 8.30 to 10.00, round KK macam tourist yang first time datang KK and amaze dengan kecantikan dan kedamaian KK di pagi hari. Firstly went to Petronas to isi minyak kereta I yang nyawa-nyawa ikan. Di dalam, I looked for Old Town White Coffee yang pergghh sedapp. Aku realized, abang-abang lori yang kebanyakannya melanggan minyak di station2 minyak di awal pagi. And, abang-abang motor pulak akan ambik turn diorang melanggan minyak, di tengah malam. Bagus pemandu2 ni semua, pandai ambik turn masing2 bahahaha. Thumbs up again! In the car after refilled minyak, I was thinking of having a shopping. Went to ATM at shell, because ATM di Petronas was out of service that day.
Sambil pusing-pusing bandar, melihat pemandangan di awal pagi, at last jam menunjukkan hampir pukul 10. Drive laju-laju, yet carefully. Tepat jam 10 aku tercegat depan pintu City Mall. But then i heard a live band in my stomach reminding me that I haven't take my breakfast. So aku pun pergi laa cari restoran yang best, then it happened kaki aku melangkah masuk ke dalam Old Town.
Kadang-kadang best juga meluangkan masa dengan diri sendiri. Sambil-sambil duduk menunggu makanan, boleh lah curi-curi dengar perbualan orang sebelah-menyebelah haha. Di belakang meja aku ni ialah sebuah keluarga consists of the father, mother, two daughters 8-10 years old and a baby boy. When the family entered the restaurant, I saw the 2 two little girls were holding their samsung phones. But then they sat di belakang aku, that I was unable to see them anymore T_____T. Aku cuma boleh terdengar perbualan mereka tetapi malangnya aku tidak mampu melihat T______T. Kalau aku duduk berdepan, senang laa ambil gambar mereka secara senyap-senyap dan sebarkan gossip di blog murai.com. Terus feeling-feeling gossip girl aww! Not sure laa how old the girls are, but then she said something yang made my brain hampir explode.
Father : What u want?
Girl 1 : I want this. (I bet she was pointing on the menu)
Mother : U? what u want?
Girl 2 : Mommy mommy, I nak iPhone~
Me : (amboi, mengada kauu order iPhone di Old Town) *dalam hati*
Sekarang ni iPhone boleh di order seperti order makanan di gerai makan. Bertuah betul budak zaman sekarang kan. They don't play toys anymore, gadget are their toys. Well hello, kami tidak main 'zero point' okay take note!
But then, we cannot compare ourselves to kids nowadays. Because we were born in a different era. Time passes by, as well as the life style. We have to accept the fact that they were born with the gadgets! Okay maybe a little bit of hyperbole hihi. We cannot forbid them to possess or play with those gadgets because its the development towards becoming modern society. Technology is part of it!
Gadgets remain as gadgets. For me, it doesn't matter whether to preserve or not to preserve the old life style. People are afraid and paranoid of the technology. Because people were always relate it to the behavioral problems and lack of morality of today's generations. From what I learned in Child Development subject, its all started from home. It always starts from the parents and the family itself. No matter lah if you possess iPhone, iPad, apple laptop and so on, it doesn't affect on the children. It will only leads to negative effect if the parents let the children own those gadgets and internet connection, but they do not keep an eye on the children's activity.
I'm quite disagree on people blaming technologies as the main cause. Mari kita ambil contoh kegunaan pisau. Pisau dicipta untuk kemudahan kita potong benda-benda dengan mudah. So that kita tidak susah-susah koyak daging kerbau yang seketul-seketul tu untuk masak daging rendang di hari raya. Menangis kau koyak daging kerbau hahaa. But then, ada orang gunakan pisau untuk membunuh orang lain. Persoalannya, adakah pisau itu yang bersalah atau orang yang membunuh menggunakan pisau tu yang salah? So, its how you use things. Kan?
